Do you remember that old Chris Isaak song from the 1990s, "Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing"?

The video was kind of weird but it sure did have some cool guitar licks.

I don't have any guitar licks for you today. But I do have to admit I did a little bit of a bad, bad thing.

You see, when you signed up for my email list way back when, I promised to send you helpful stuff on a regular basis.

I did that for a while--for several years on a daily basis, actually.

However, I've been MIA the last several months. And for that, I'm sorry.

More than a few people have reached out and asked, "Hey, is everything OK? I miss your emails!"

Truth is, when I switched my podcast and membership from Daily Writer to Profitable Writer at the end of last year, I fumbled around trying to figure out how to best serve the good people (like you) on my email list.

Since the beginning of the year, I've been pouring lots of energy into my Profitable Writer membership group, my ghostwriting client projects, and my own writing as well.

However, I haven't consistently shown up for you via regular emails. That's why I'm writing today.

I'm diving back into serving my email subscribers. There's lots of stuff I want to share, and lots of cool things in the works.

However, I don't want to overwhelm you with one gigantic email.

So over the next couple of weeks, you'll get a few different emails from me.

I'll get you up to speed on what's happening with my ghostwriting business, my Profitable Writer podcast and membership, and my own upcoming books.

So if you're wondering if I'm alive and kicking, the answer is definitely yes! :)

In fact, I've never been more excited about business, writing, and life!
